Design and Website Creation to Support Agricultural Waste Processing into Bioenergy (Study on the Independent Study MBKM Program at PT Kinema Systrans Multimedia)

Agriculture is a crucial sector in supporting food security and the national economy, especially in Indonesia. Although the agricultural sector plays an important role, many farmers in rural areas still face various difficulties, such as low incomes, limited access to the latest technology, and a lack of knowledge about the use of bioenergy. One of the great potentials that has not been optimally utilised is agricultural waste such as onion skins, straw, rice husks, and other organic waste. In fact, this waste can be processed into a renewable energy source with economic value, namely bioenergy. The Energiku website is a web-based platform designed to help farmers manage and utilise agricultural waste as a renewable energy source, particularly bioenergy. This platform provides various features, such as educational videos, news, and a system for exchanging waste for bioenergy with economic value. Farmers who supply waste will receive points that can be exchanged for money through the available features, providing direct financial benefits. The primary objective of this platform is to improve farmers' welfare, promote the use of environmentally friendly energy such as bioenergy, and create a sustainable technology-based agricultural ecosystem. The development of this website utilises the Agile method with React.js technology for the user interface, Node.js and Express.js for the back-end server, and Tailwind CSS for design.
